The Western Association for Slavic Studies (WASS) invites proposals for panels, single papers, and workshops in ALL fields, regions and periods of history related to Slavic studies. The WASS conference will be held, jointly with the Western Social Science Association (WSSA), April 13-16, 2016, at Reno, NV. WASS, the Slavic Section of the Western Social Science Association (WSSA), seeks to encourage a diverse array of scholars to attend and present work at our next annual conference. We welcome graduate students and academics of all ranks to share their work. We are affiliated with the Association for Slavic, East European & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) and recognized two fantastic graduate student papers at last year’s conference with an award and monetary prize.
We are open to papers from any academic discipline covering the range of Slavic studies.
